About Us
Property Traders is a dynamic real estate company specializing in the marketing of residential properties in Gauteng's East Rand (Primrose Bedfordview, Edenvale, Lambton etc.) and the South Coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal (Margate, Shelly beach, Uvongo, Southbroom, Marina Beach etc)
Property Traders was established by Stephan Venter, Susan and Sid du Toit in 2001 in Lambton (Germiston: Gauteng), primarily focusing on the marketing of residential property surrounding the Victoria Lake area of Gauteng at the time. Our Principal Estate Agent and co-founder, Stephan Venter has been in the property industry since 1994.
In 2008 our operations expanded to the Primrose and surrounding areas of Bedfordview, where we have established a strong and successful network.
As of February 2016, we further expanded our coverage to a branch on the KZN South Coast, where Isobel Hitchcock (Master Practitioner) and Soekie and Jack Bouwer take care of business for us!
We are aware of the legal and ethical implications relating to the residential real estate market and to support this, all our staff are registered with the Property Practitioners Authority (The PPRA) and in possession of a valid Fidelity Fund Certificate. All full status Estate agents employed by Property Traders have successfully completed NQF4 and NQF5 qualifications and are currently enrolled for the PPRA’s Continual Professional Development Programme.
